We are located a few meters from Campo San Toma',
near Campo dei Frari, famous for its majestic church and bell tower and the 'Scuola di San Rocco' with its Tintoretto paintings
To arrive to Al Campaniel, you would take the ACTV Vaporetto (water bus) number 1 (all day) or 2 (depending on the
time) or Notturno (at night) from Piazzale Roma Car/Coach terminal in Venice or Santa Lucia Railway Station, and get off at
San Toma', approximately 25 minutes later.
From there go straight along the only calle available (Calle del Traghetto
Vecchio) and you will end up in our street, Calle del Campaniel (not to be mistaken with other streets with the same name
that are not next to Campo San Toma'). Turn LEFT. We are at the third door on the left side, at number 2889.
It takes
10/15 minutes walking from Piazzale Roma and the railway station (if you have light luggage, seeing that there are bridges
to cross).
From the railway station cross the the bridge, and take the street next to the Church with the green dome,
visible when you exit the station. Follow the blue signs 'Giunta Regionale del Veneto', crossing a second small bridge, going
towards and past Campo dei Frari. Take the street the DERSUT cafe at its corner and reach Campo San Toma' from where Calle
del Campaniel starts. We are opposite the 'Viziovirtu' chocolate shop.
If you arrive by plane into Venice MARCO POLO
airport, ATVO (www.atvo.it) coaches leave from there to Venice Piazzale Roma every 30 minutes.
From TREVISO airport, a Ryanair ATVO
shuttle will bring you to Piazzale Roma from where you can catch the vaporetto.
